Entronix Energy Management Platform Privacy Policy

Introduction

Entronix Energy Management Platform (the “Company”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.

Definitions

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service which can be accessed via our website at entronix.io or through our mobile applications, in which users can interface with Entronix’s web- or QR- enabled hardware and software. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of Service.

Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, the Company reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy, in part or in whole, at any time at its sole discretion.

If we make changes to this document, they will be reflected in the change log.

Website Visitors

Entronix automatically collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Entronix’s purpose in collecting such information is to better understand how our visitors use our website.

Entronix also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users. Entronix only discloses logged-in user IP addresses and any user information as described below.

Personal Data

We do not collect or make use of any of your personal information except as needed for the functioning of the software.

Non-Personal Data

As part of the nature of our services, we store important data associated with technological systems as needed for the functioning of the software.

Protection of Certain Personally Identifying Information

Entronix discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, affiliated organizations, and users with a sufficient privileges in the software that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Entronix’s behalf or to provide services available at Entronix’s websites, or (ii) have administrative level access or are configured in the software as having supervisory level access over the user in question. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Entronix’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Entronix will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, affiliated organizations, and administrative- or supervisory-level users as described above, Entronix discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Entronix believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Entronix, third parties or the public at large. Entronix takes reasonably necessary measures to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying information.

Mobile Application Permissions

Entronix Applications requre the following permissions:

Camera

The camera is used to capture an image of the QR code for processing. This application will not use the camera for any purpose other than user-initiated QR scanning.

JoinIn needs access to the camera in order to capture a picture of the user and of other identifying documents for the JoinIn which are required for access authorization when using the JoinIn software platform.

Photos/Media & Storage

Entronix apps can save an image of a scanned QR code to your photo or general storage. We will never attempt to access your device’s storage for any other reason.

Network access, View Network Connections

Entronix apps will only use your network access in order to send data to our secure servers, nowhere else.

Flashlight

This is used if the camera device indicates that it is in darkness or low light.

Location & Wi-Fi

JoinIn needs access to your location-related services in order to check you out of the facility if you leave and forget to check out with security. Once you have been checked out, location-related services are no longer utilized.
